Chapter 4: India’s Foreign Policy 1. What is meant by Foreign Policy? Discuss the factors that determine Foreign Policy. Answer: In simple words, foreign policy is a set of policies through which a country protects its national interests and develops political, economic and cultural relations with other countries. It also helps a country to strengthen its position in the international field. Both internal and external factors play an important role in making the foreign policy of a country.
